Anne-Laure Gérard: Undead (Vampire), Blood Mage / Harlequin
Anne-Laure is a scion of the successful Gérard merchant dynasty, a noble and well-regarded House of Olton with more than a few skeletons in its closet. Anne-Laure is currently undertaking a right of passage of all young Gérards—venturing out into the world, not to return without a successful acquisition, fortune, scheme, or other enterprise that will meaningfully expand the Gérard holdings. Anne-Laure uses a potent combination of vampiric and Blood Mage powers, allowing her to turn situations that would normally be deadly to a spellslinger to her advantage.

Cass Frey: Orc, Knight / Sorcerer / Shadow Mage
A newly-promoted Knight Errant, Cass is embarking on a prolonged patrol during which they are expected to drive back danger and darkness wherever they find it. During training, Cass showed a particular knack for understanding and combating the esoteric and eldritch, which they hope may put them in line for promotion within the more specialist sects of their order if they can prove their ability in the field. Cass plays as a strong front-line tank or linebreaker, acting as a rallying point for allies and a shield for bystanders in times of danger.

Cirex Crux: Gorgon, Necromancer / Plague Doctor / Field Medic
Cirex has dedicated herself to the study of life, which she argues includes the dead, dying, and hard-to-classify-let's-just-give-them-a-minute-and-see. She's made great strides in the pursuit of making living things dead, dead things un-dead, and finding some fascinating alchemical formulae in the process, but her true prize eludes her: making the deceased truly live again. Which is to say nothing of the experiments she's had to turn into stone when they failed. Cirex has a bevvy of healing-with-a-twist options at her disposal, and can grow into a potent marshal of undead minions with time.

Loreli: Wilderkin (Arachninx), Assassin / Blink Mage / Elementalist
Life can be hard for a spider-person—just because she CAN move silently throughout a labyrinth of entangling webs, appear from nowhere, and dispense acids or toxins with ease doesn't mean she's a bad neighbor. Loreli is on the road after a terrible misunderstanding made her previous living situation...awkward, and is looking to fall in with a more easygoing crew until she decides exactly what her next chapter should be. Loreli is physically frail, but capable of extreme mobility, and at her best when she's resolving problems in unexpected ways.

Prix Prim Primus: Fae (Pixie), Berserker / Dynamancer
Prix Prim Primus, pugnacious pixie, provides prompt, potent pummeling. Prix is a tiny flying pixie with a giant hammer and the ability to mess with gravity. Go nuts.

Roderick Rine: Human, Warrior / Elementalist / Scoundrel
The first thing you need to know about Roderick is that he definitely, undeniably was NOT a highwayman, and he certainly, totally has an alibi for whatever day you're thinking about. There are probably LOTS of folks in the region who have a distinctive and dashing (why thank you for noticing) style of electrified bladework, it certainly seems like the kind of thing that plenty of people would want to emulate... Roderick uses his Elementalist abilities to amplify his feats of physical prowess, and is definitely not a semi-famous criminal on the run.

Victoria Falk: Centaur, Paladin / Warrior
Young, starry-eyed Victoria set out in search of adventure, but it hasn't been as rose-tinted as she imagined. She hasn't given up hope, though, as she feels like there are real opportunities to do good for people out there...if she could find her way past all the errand-running, pest control, and cargo hauling folks seem to want to hire a centaur for. Victoria is big, strong, and very, very fast. As she levels up, she'll be assessing and re-assessing the tenants of her Paladin's Credo, and trying to find out what being a hero means to her.

Walthrup Q. Habb: Firmalite, Avatar / Knight
Walthrup is, by his own belated admission, a spoiled rich kid from Tumblefray. That may have been all he ever thought to be, if he hadn't been caught up by chance in that terrible business down by the docks a few months back. As he hid inside a barrel, Walthrup promised any power that would listen that he would devote his life to something good if he lived...and he did. Now, he's trying to make good. To complete his training as a Knight, Walthrup has to undertake a perilous journey to receive his armor from one of the Order's smiths, several hundred miles of dangerous terrain to the north. While he grows into becoming a capable Knight, Walthrup relies on newfound powers of healing and divine might to carry him through his trials.
